Northside Baptist School First Graders Toured VEG on April 15 VCMGA Tour Volunteers:  Edna LaFour (Chair), Pat Miller and Gloria Spell

These 7 first grade students enjoyed seeing the goldfish in the Children's Garden Pond.  They also enjoyed the KOI Pond and seeing the Purple Martins flying in and out of their house.  During their tour they helped to plant a Batface Plant in the Sensory Area and planted cuttings of Gregg's Mist Flower to take back to school with them.

The Purple Martins have again made their home at VEG in the VEGGIE area above the fence by VCMGA VEG Pavilion.  While in the Veggie Area the students also enjoyed the Pizza Bed planted with tomatoes, oregano, bell peppers, rosemary, garlic, and yellow daisies to represent yellow cheese.
