Cherry Surprise Cake

Ingredients: 1-cup oil
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 cups flour
1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
1 can cherry pie filling (Apple or Peach can be used)


Topping: 6 tablespoons flour
6 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons cinnamon

Preparation:

1. Mix oil and sugar thoroughly. 
2. Add eggs singly and beat until fluffy.
3. Add vanilla, flour, and baking powder to creamed mixture.  Beat well.
4. Pour ½ of the batter into a 13” x 9” pan.
5. Spoon the pie filling over this batter.
6. Pour the remaining batter over filling.
7. Mix all the ingredients for the topping and sprinkle on the cake.
8. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
