| Representatives from Garden-Ville presented a symbolic check to Suzann Herricks, Victoria Educational Gardens General Co-chair, whose entry, Coastal-Gro, won the Compost Naming Contest sponsored by The City of Victoria in February 2008. The prize for winning the contest was $250 cash and also the delivery of a ton of compost (Coastal-Gro) to be used at Victoria Educational Gardens.
