Victoria Educational Gardens...
UPLOADED WEEK OF MARCH 24, 2011
Spring has sprung and Victoria Educational Gardens are blooming with new life.  Along with the annual reseeding bluebonnets, we have a new Children's Memorial Area near the entrance to VEG.  There are also new birdhouses, frogs and mushrooms added to the Birding Area.
The first photo is a new memorial in the entrance to the children's garden.  Friends and family donated the marker and money.  Fran Kanak, Children's Garden Chair, purchased and placed the statue and planted the flowers.  This area turned out very beautiful--nice job Fran!!!

The next one is of cute bird houses, frogs and mushrooms purchased by MG, Suzann Herricks.  She used the orchid tree which froze last winter in the birding area to decorate.  This dead tree could have been a "eye sore," but with Suzann's imagination, it was turned into a special, whimsical part of the Birding Area.  Suzanne, Olivia, Barbara and Brynn are just "added cuteness." :)

And the last one is the bluebonnets in full bloom in the Native area--Olivia, Native Area Chair, is just like a "proud Mama".

Thanks to Brynn Lee for sending the photos.  Great job!

Please come out and enjoy the beautiful spring flowers and take advantage of some great photo moments.
